About:
Nichols Street Youth Group is open and welcome to all teens 6th - 12th
grade. We meet weekly on Sunday morning at 9:00 AM for classSunday night
at 5:00 PM for Awakening Wednesday night at 6:30 PM for classCheck the
wall for other events!
Description:
This is a place to belong. It is a place to grow and learn, but more
importantly it is a place where we can walk together as we grow and
learn. We aren't perfect, but we're being changed everyday.
If you are a parent who had a teenager 6th - 12th grade, then you are
welcome along with your teen. This isn't just about them. Everything we
do is parent-friendly.
We are constantly striving to be relevant as we seek to teach the truths
of scripture in a way that teens can understand and implement in their
lives.
General Information:
We meet at 9 on Sunday mornings for class. Our group is divided during
this meeting into Jr. high and Sr. High classes.
On Wednesdays we meet at Dairy Queen at 5:30 (for those that want to
come hang out), and we have class in the fellowship hall at 7 PM. This
night we have 6th - 12th grades all together.
We are also constantly going on various trips and activities to bolster
our faith in God, and motivate us to live for Him each day.
Mission:
Reaching teens and their families with the good news of Jesus, and
teaching them how to live for him each day to have the most fulfilled
life possible.
