Nichols Street Church of Christ

I got this one recently from one of my longstanding students who is up for Parole this month. He calls me his "Mama in Christ". When I began writing to him he was a gang member in the free world & went by the name "Young Gunn".  His name is Johnny Robertson Jr. He had been sent to prison by the time I started writing & doing a Bible study with him. He says, "Remember I used to be Young Gunn and couldn't stay out of trouble? But guess what? You help me find Johnny again. Thank you for that blessing!" He has straightened up & taken several Bible courses & gotten his G.E.D. & taken several trades. He's a different person. Unfortunately he got a years set-off so has to wait another year to be up for parole.
